Terms and Conditions for Contributors
1. You must provide a legitimately free gift.
This event is focussed on helping younger marketers to obtain products and services
to start to build their online business.
The best products are those that can be downloaded instantly.
You must provide a licence with your product that describes the limitations on the use
of the product. For example, if it is a Master Resell Rights Product you must describe
the product as well as what they can and can not do with the product.
You must be certain that you can give the product away for free, and it is your
responsibility to make sure that you do not violate any Terms and Conditions that are
on the product(s) that you are providing.
You are encouraged to provide more than one gift and you will only need to register
with a single email address to do this.
Your gift needs to be hosted on your own server or a server that you have legitimate
access to.
You agree that you are 100% LEGALLY liable for the gift that you provide to ensure
that it meets the original authors Terms Of Service.
2. You will be required to provide links to your landing page as well as
download page.
We check the legitimacy of the products and services on the download pages. This is
to ensure that the products conform to the Product Listing Guidelines, as set out in #6
below.
We will ensure that the download pages that you provide are cloaked so as to ensure
that your actual download pages don't get passed around the internet for free.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your autoresponder is working correctly.
3. SPAM Policy.
No SPAMMING. Period.
Any SPAM complaints from subscribers (from either the registered members of this
Giveaway or from people not registered at the event) will result in immediate
termination of your account.
To avoid being labelled as a SPAMMER you will be required to adopt the Anti-SPAM
policy as set out in #4 below when communicating with lists.
4. Anti-SPAM Policy
The policy for all Giveaway Event Partners is this:
- You MUST use Double Opt In forms for your mail list.
- Single Opt In forms are not permitted
- You are giving away your product without any future condition that people need to
be signed up to your mailing list, either implied or written. That is, you must provide
written forms in each email for people to be able to remove themselves from your list
if and when required.
- When emailing the people that signed up to your list as a result of this Giveaway
Event, you are urged to include the following details with each email you send, in
order to reduce SPAM complaints:
a) Their Name
b) Their Email address
c) Their IP Address
d) Their date of sign up
e) An unsubscribe link or method of unsubscribing from your list
All members who pass through the doors of this Giveaway are being assured that they
can remove themselves from JV Partners mailing lists through details included at the
bottom of each email you send out.
If this is not your current practise, then you are urged to adopt this policy as a partner
with this Giveaway Event.
5. Entitlement to Products
When a gift is submitted and approved a Direct Download link will be available for
all paid members to access.
By submitting your download page you are giving up your right to collect names and
email addresses of people you refer, as well as other people who purchase the items.
6. JV Partner Product / Service Listing Guidelines
Your landing pages must clearly show the download link in the top half of the screen
when people arrive to collect their gift. Pages that are not clear about how to
download their gifts will not be accepted.
Your Landing Page and Download Page must clearly show that it is associated with
this event, and must have a specific welcome screen. For instance the title, “Welcome
Visitors of the XXXXXXXX Giveaway” would be sufficient to identify your site as a
contributor to the event.
For expediency and clarity you are encouraged to use the Landing Page package that
includes a basic header and footer associated with this Giveaway Event.
You may ONLY give away access to your own Membership Sites, not anyone else’s.
The Download Page link will be the signup page to your sites free access. If you are
offering a service, for instance free entry into a Membership Site, then you must have
permission to give that service away.
7. Duration of the Event
This Giveaway Event will open to contributors from February 20 2009.
The doors of the event will open for registrations to the public from March 13 2009
and will remain open for 14 days, during the month of March.
No new contributors for this Giveaway Event will be accepted into the site after it launches.
8. Referral Contest and Bonus Pool
This Giveaway Event is a list-building event that will reward the top 4 contributors
with cash prizes. The prizes will be awarded to the person(s) who refer the most
unique number of confirmed members/contributors into the Giveaway, based on IP Address and Email.
Your gifts will be ranked in descending order of highest number of unique
referrals.
The contest will be open for the most referrals from February 20 to March 27.
9. Payment of Affiliate Commissions and Contest Awards
Affiliate payments will be paid through PayPal.
The Cash incentives and Bonus prizes will be awarded through Paypal as well.
The payment of prizes and bonus money will be around 2 weeks after the event closes.
10. Commitment to Promote this Event
Being accepted as a JV Partner is a privilege because you will be receiving affiliate
commissions through the sales of the One Time Offer and Special Offer, as well as
having the opportunity to build your list of subscribers.
As a result of being part in the JV Partner program you will be expected to promote
this site to your members list and/or to other people that may benefit from the
products being offered at the Giveaway.
If you don't promote this event, then your gift will be deleted.
13. Support Center
For all assistance with matters related to this event, please create a ticket at my
support centre.
14. Disputes
If you have a dispute about the event or donations of gifts, please log your case with
the Support Center. We will endeavour to resolve your dispute as quickly as we can. If
we can't resolve it quickly, we will let you know our progress and may ask you for
further assistance.
If you have a dispute with another JV Partner that relates directly to a gift provided in
this event, please attempt to resolve that dispute between yourselves.
If the gift that is provided by another person violates the Rights of the gift, then
please log a call at the Support Center.
Gifts that violate Resell Rights conditions will have their accounts suspended until the
situation is resolved.
Suspended accounts are able to be reactivated once the situation is resolved unless
there are other factors that are deemed to affect the account from remaining opened.
In any case, I will aim to provide you with reasons why your account is suspended so
that you can meet our concerns or the concerns raised by your peers.
You do not need to address any issues that are raised. This decision is up to you.
I do not guarantee that you will be allowed to access the site if you have previously
had your account suspended.
Accounts that are permanently closed are not permitted to promote the event. Please
don't harass me or my Support Center if you blatantly violate these Terms and
Conditions. We will aim to be fair with you.
15. Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change, and we will not be bound to keep
any of these conditions.
All disputes will be resolved by the web site owner.
